Hi Kerry. Loved hearing your prologue spoken. This rounds it out, gives it flesh. I have been enjoying Metanoia for some time now, looking forward to each new installment. I am the author of the Scary House, a chapter book for kids, the first in a series of middle school fantasy books. Im trying to learn about the publishing process which seems way more daunting than the writing process at this point! I am also a visual artist and speech pathologist. I love everything Kerry and follow you on all your platforms as you know. Looking forward to more!

If you choose Substack you know I will be the first one to recommend it.

Thank you so much Janice. I hope to see your work either here or through a publisher of your choice one day.

Writing is definitely 'hard'. We do so little of it unless it is part of our profession. Hated it in college, but was forced into it in business - report, propose, plan, or die. post-graduate academics often face the same fate. Practice doesn't make perfect unless you have a good editor, but it always helps. :-)

I'm only sure of one thing - we are better for thinking about our world, the one we inhabit in our imaginations and the real one. It anchors us as individuals and keeps us from becoming sheep at the mercy of the wolves that lie in wait.

Enjoyed your explanatory note to the world. I recognized a little of myself in it. It confirms what I've heard said, 'We need a witness to our lives.' For some of us, that is an audience. We only hope it is worthy of the larger consideration. g

Thanks for taking the time to introduce yourself Geoffrey and explaining your own journey. Healing is messy and I find life pretty fleeting these days and just go through the motions. One day at a time. You’re a 4 life path, if you happen to be curious about numerology. I have that character state in my third chapter and am currently editing and formatting that one. If not then no matter, good luck with your current book and with your overall process.
