I'll have you all know that changing my settings to only receive messages from subscribers has helped a lot, and I suggest you do the same if you haven't yet.
You guys are getting DMs? In my experience with discord people who open with just 'hey' are either bots or scammers, so I'd shut the door on those people instantly. Shame that DMs have become such an annoying feature for people.

I think what happened was they asked some Substackers: "Would you like us to introduce DMs?"
And they said: "100% yes!"
