Hi Kerry wow, this is a good one! I love your off-brand non-brand! (And your editor). This is exactly what this world needs more of. That i may fit into a niche on one issue, but Not on five others...lol. I think this need to label and categorize people and their ideas, their politics too, simplifies things for the simple, but dishonors the true nature of a person and even of a concept. If we choose to limit ourselves to one category or point of view...well, fine. But if we diversify then we are alive in a river of flowing ideas and turns of directions. Hey, Thanks for being you.
Thank you so much Janice ❤️ yes, we keep making things catered for the lowest common denominator, but then that becomes the new bar slowly over time! Cheers 🥂
I love this article, and can so deeply relate. You sound so much like myself, with many of the same interests. I have published two sci-fi books, which are part of a trilogy. They’re about dimensional travel, waking up in alternate worlds, and the deeper truth behind our reality.
When you have finished writing yours, I would love for you to send me the details, so I can read it.
I’m also a nature lover at heart, and agree that people are not brand's. We shouldn't be defined by social and career status.
Also, a side note, I have four leopard geckos! Loved this piece. So refreshing to read something that honours the full spectrum of who we are.
I love everything about this, so cool. I feel like we’d have good conversations in a book store coffee shop. And wow you have a gecko army lol! I was not looking for a leopard gecko, it was the leopard gecko distribution system that paid me a visit. He’s a great writing companion as his tank is right next to my desk and I don’t have the money or the resources to have any other kind of pet right now.
I agree, after reading your post, I think we would end up in one of those conversations that lasts for hours without even realising how much time has passed.
Aww, I love that your gecko is your little writing companion. That’s such a special kind of energy to have nearby while creating.
What a beautiful gift to offer your subscribers, too. I’ve saved the link in my notes so I don’t lose it. I’m looking forward to starting from the beginning. Thank you so much for sharing it with me.
A genuine pleasure to meet you. In amongst all the crazy heartbreaking awe of our world right now, on thus day you made me laugh out loud. Thanks for that. 😉
You write well, and your honest. There is some deep wisdom in your words. Wisdom I think I had a grip on once, but right now it is eluding me like a bar of soap in the bath. Your work is a pleasure to read.
Thank you kindly Robert 🥰 feedback like this makes my day. It can come back. I think sometimes it takes a tricky balance of surrender and directed attention, but that’s just my two cents on it.
Nice to "meet" you, Kerry! Here for the non-brands. And these kind of people: "I could be for the curious, the whimsical, the heavy-hearted that are also willing to laugh."
How wide is a piece of paper? It spans not just the oceans, but centuries, the width of mind and memory.
You are not a brand, with life finite that spoils on the shelf, but a person. With each breath you renew, forging a future second by second, day by day.
With force of will and determination you carve your way through life, nourishing what deserves to stay and bloom, pulling the weeds of failure to feed the living, consumed in a cycle of rebirth.
Be you, it is all any of us can strive for, for wherever we go, we will find ourselves and we want to future us to regard us with fond eyes and compassion for the journey it took to arrive.
I just sent a direct message to you expressing my gratitude (thank you again). I hope to continue shaping this publication effectively and sending words to your inbox that give you something you feel like you're not getting elsewhere (free or paid).

I enjoy your writings. I agree, write and create because it needs to be. You will find your audience. I'm still searching for mine. I wish you luck.
Thank you for being here and taking the time to leave this sentiment. Good luck to you too ❤️🙏
I'm with you all the way.
I'm a human, too. We can be humans together.
That's rare these days.
What a powerful statement:
In retrospect, this was a person who couldn’t comprehend doing something for the sake of making something exis
